As an Honors Resident Advisor, I gained experience in conflict management, mentoring, event planning, and working in an entirely self-directed role. As an RA, I used initiative and creativity to send monthly update emails, design bulletin boards, and create tailored events to the community's needs. For the Honors portion of this job, I worked on a team of 14 RAs to develop community events for the Honors Program. For each event, I purchased tickets, created advertisements and publicity, managed registration, and organization the flow of the actual events.
